I've been dolling since before it was dolling. I started using The Palace Chat in about 1997, and created my website in 1998. My website was one of the first to put my own edits, and then creations, on a website, and the second to contain tutorials on creating new dolls (as opposed to simply ripping avatars off of Palace and posting them online). Just a bit of history, the very first website to contain tutorials for "dolls" was http://lfai.8m.com/
Although I've taken breaks inbetween getting into dolls my website has been up, and online, ever since 1998. They were originally on a free web host and then in 2001, I purchased my current domain names, rubberhouse.net and veriria.com.
I pixel shade, though I was dallying with tool shading when I lost interest in dolls and Palace Chat (in favor of World of Warcraft...I'm such a dork).
Other hobbies include soap making, playing WoWs, and trying any new craft at least once.
If you have The Palace Chat, I'm also getting back into designing a chat server. The address is verypalace.com:9998 or conversely you can connect via OpenPalace.org
Annnnd here's some of my dolls (from the past). Bases and everything is all me.
Edited to add:
Shows how nutty I am, I totally could NOT answer the security question while trying to sign up. It took me like half an hour that the answer was "base". Derp! I think mainly because I don't really use other people's bases
