What what? I'm posting--well, anything?

It's been a long time since I've posted anything on any sort of dolling community. Actually, if I has to venture a guess, I'd have to say that I probably haven't finished anything since EE decided to close its doors forever and a half ago. A little depressing, don't you think?

But I'm back, and hopefully I'm going to be dolling much more often now. I've only had an account on Glam since it opened--can't hurt to use it, right?

So, without further ado, I present to you the only thing I've finished in a year!

Base

It's not even anything to marvel at, just a cute little something that I think I might end up using as my av. There's a story behind the characters, but it's so cute/sad/happy/melty/goop that I ought not tell you, lest your brains explode in a fit of fiery confusion. Perhaps a story for another day, my pretties?

On another note, anyone know of any good bases? It seems all the ones I find these days are either traced out of something or too big for me to use. Or I've seen them a million zillion times.

As for bases, PixiStar is a good place to look. Lots of cute bases of various types there.

It was initially a lot more complicated, but I decided to try a technique that was a little different and see how that went. I'm glad you like it! I'll have to keep that in mind in the future.

Thank you and thank you, I'll be sure to go take a look! PixiStar looks like it's a pretty genius idea! Wasn't there a similar engine a while back? I remember frequenting it until it went down.

Sometimes you stumbled across pretty cool bases.

Yeah, the Yumestudio one... it just had links to sites though. Half the time I couldn't find the base I searched for.
